The Illinois Green Business Association is always looking for individuals, organizations, companies, governments and groups to assist with greening efforts in Illinois.

To better assist businesses in the certification process, we strive to provide a list of resources that can help businesses implement green management practices needed for certification. If you feel that your products or services can aid businesses in meeting sustainability goals, we would like to know about you and make sure that businesses know about you as well!

Do you live in Central Illinois and want to join in on the discussion?

IGBA hosts monthly Central Illinois Green Business Network meetings to foster better communication between business owners, city staff and IGBA board members. Working together, we aim to set a group initiative into motion to raise awareness about sustainability issues. Some ideas we would like to propose:

• Lighting retrofits for car dealerships
• Styrofoam phase-out campaign
• Inkjet collection program
• Cell phone drop-off day
• Clothing donation drive
