The educational programming intern will help develop educational presentations on topics relating to business sustainability. The IGBA hopes to launch a free informational series or a"Lunch N' Learn" covering ways to green your business. Intern would set up a schedule for the series and organize the multitude of green resources the IGBA has into a presentation agenda. This position also includes researching preexisting educational programs nationwide. This is a great opportunity to become well-versed about energy efficiency and green business practices.

IGBA seeks a graphic or web designer to assist with our brand and web presence. The IGBA marketing intern will help with marketing strategy and execution. Tasks include but are not limited to: writing press releases, media outreach, implementing strategies from our marketing plan, planning for IGBA events, and designing materials to advertise & promote certified green businesses to the local community.

This is a hands-on position that offers an opportunity to work directly with a business to assist them in reaching their sustainable goals. Intern will execute business-specific research and utilize creative thinking skills to assert a business' green goals and make sure business needs are met. Intern will also learn about sustainable business practices and solutions, and gain real, unique experiences as a green consultant! You may also research any topic relating to our certification checklist that is of particular interest to you.
